The movie also shows the tussle between the crime and the police. The story of the movie revolves around the life of a Anjali ( Anjana Mumtaz ), who was not satisfied with her first marriage with Mahendra Pratap Gujral ( Suresh Oberoi ) as he was a criminal and hence she got divorced from him. Soon after she married a young doctor Malhotra ( Navin Nischol ). With passage of time she gave birth to a son and named him Dev ( Sunil Shetty ). Years later he is now a grown man and has become a police officer.
Music is cool. It is given by Anand Raj Anand. Songs are well sung by Abhijeet, Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik.
